Welcome to Conner’s Blog

April 4th, 2009 by admin

Just one week after Conner’s diagnosis, he has a Facebook Prayer and Support Group with 2500 members.  That’s mind-blowing!  A friend of the Stells, Dave Summers, started the group and has been aggressively recruiting soldiers for Conner’s army, to band together with love, support and encouragement.

This blog isn’t meant to replace Facebook.  There’s a link on sidebar to that group and we encourage you to keep in touch through Facebook.  Our intentions in creating this site is to have an easy website – www.teamstell.com that pulls everything together and provides our headquarters for our fundraising efforts.

The Stells are facing what all families face with children with serious illnesses – mounds and mounds of bills.  In addition to costs not fully covered by insurance, the Stells are making the 100 mile round trip drive 1-2 times per day, in addition other random costs such as parking, meals, loss of work, etc…  Aaron, Conner’s dad, has his own business and will not be working in the near future.  If we all pull together and do a small amount each, together we will make a huge difference in Conner and his family’s fight against this rare form of leukemia.

On behalf of Conner’s family and friends, thank you for joining Conner’s Army of Support.  Become a soldier for Conner!
