Apologize to all awaiting an update.

We have been extremely busy with moving to a new house and trying to juggle back and forth to the hospital. We just got internet hooked up at the new house today 4/9 so now updates will be more easy to accomplish.

When we had heard the news about Conner we had decided to just stay in the old house and gradually move bits and pieces to the new house whenever we could. Well when someone decided they wanted to rent my other house ASAP. I decided rather than make 2 house payments we better hurry up and get out. So needless to say things were very rushed and unplanned, including no utilities for days. No water, but we did have electric. Then after all this hustle and bustle the check I had received from the renters was insufficient funds. Well evidently to much was being held in and I exploded. All was worked out later that day, and I apologized for going off the deep end.

Conner has been doing GREAT. As I said in my first post he is the TOUGHEST kid I have ever seen. He is dealing with the chemo like a champ. He is just as wild as he was before. He lets them put drops in his eyes(to there amazement) and even helps. Actually he helps with everything, and is getting quite accustomed to his daily routine.
I know prayers are working. Why? Well Conner has been in this hospital/prison for 14 days and spent the majority of that time in his bed. Now let me tell everyone a little secret about Conner. He can’t sit still 5 min. let alone 5 hrs. or 5 days but 14 DAYS WOW.

He has received tons of gifts and cards and gets very excited opening both. Today 4/9 he received a Nintendo Wii from a very kind man in Iowa. A man that doesn’t know anyone in my family. But a man that knows what Conner is going through. This man who sent the Wii has AML(in remission I think) and the way I understand it he was diagnosed Feb 21/08 he was 23 at the time. He knows how boring a hospital bed can be. THANK YOU VERY MUCH LUKE

Conner’s counts have gradually been going down and will continue to do so. He is now at risk of catching anything and even the common cold is very dangerous for him. Today Karrie, Taylor, and myself had blood taken to be tested for bone marrow transplant matches. Taylor handled this like a very big girl and is hoping she gets to ” put my blood in my brother and make him better” We need even more prayers that she ends up being a perfect match 25% chance. But if she is a match it will make Conner’s journey much easier and more successful.

Stay tuned for more updates as they will be popping up much more frequently. Thanks to all for the gifts, cards, prayers, and support. It is highly appreciated and really lifts Conner’s spirits.

Aaron/Daddy
