As many know the website was down for a week or so and once fixed a couple of the latest posts are not showing up. Not much has changed as far as Conner. We are awaiting a bone marrow test on Jan.5th to hear whats happening inside. On the outside he looks and feels great. We got to enjoy xmas at home with Conner. He has made several trips to receive platelets mainly and once for blood. He was admitted once for a small fever that went right away and was released 3 days later. The counts have finally began to rise we think so hopefully it will be cellular enough for next weeks test. I will update again after these results

  • Good luck with the upcoming tests. We’ll be sure to keep on praying for good news and better results. Hang in there. I have a feeling you guys are in for some better times and good news. Hoping and praying so anyway. Keep up the fight….

  • so happy that it sounds like you all had a nice Christmas. been wondering how it’s been going. what a kid! :)

  • I have been following Conner’s story for a while now – my heart aches for you and your family – even with the best of possible outcomes, the journey is painful at best. My daughter has recently been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (an incurable type, and it;s her second primary cancer in ~4 yrs), we lost a daughter to melanoma in 2008 and my sister to breat cancer not long before that. Each of these things happened to adults (ages 27 – 45) – I cannot imagine the pain of watching a three year old traverse the path!

One good thing with your links – my eldest daughter is a bone marrow donator via the military, and she was unsure how to properly update her contact info as all her contacts from the previous donation have since moved on. I have forwarded the info so she may update her contact info. She will be thrilled – who knows, maybe she is even compatible with Conner (got to keep watch for those miracles!!)!

I know there is nothing I can say that will make things better for you, but please know that Conner and your entire family are in our thoughts, hopes and prayers. Fingers crossed for good news on Jan 5th!

  • We spent tonight looking at pictures of Conner from his Iowa benefit and from Thanksgiving. That little boy makes us smile. He’s pure boy joy! If ANYONE can pull through and fight this thing to the bitter end, it’s you, Conner. Hang in there little man (and Karrie and Aaron, of course). We are praying hard!
