Still no results back from the bone marrow yesterday. The actual blood smear didn’t look any better than the previous. Somewhere around 8% blast in the blood. The doc said she is not expecting this marrow to be better than the last, most likely worse but there is nothing else to try. Wants to take one last look at what is going on inn the inside. The spleen is back enlarged and I guess this can change quite frequently. She described whats happening is most likely for better words a standoff of the cells. Which will sooner or later blast off. She also said this may already be whats happening in the spleen and liver, that sometimes it can happen there before it shows in the marrow. Once again very confusing so we just sit and wait for whatever.
As most already know Conner is soon expecting his 4th birthday March 7th. He has been battling this disease since March 27th diagnosis. Almost a whole year of unfairness. We will be reserving the actual day for an immediate family party. But there is to be a huge birthday bash thrown for Conner on Feb 27th in Ashland VA. Anyone who wishes is invited and is also encouraged to help physically or financially, Tonya Shelton (Conners Aunt) make this a very special event. Conner doesn’t know a stranger trust me. I will post Bone Marrow results as soon as we hear anything.
